Mashed potatoes from Ratte variety and fried carrots with sumach

Ingredients (4 servings)
- * 1 kg of Ratte potatoes
- * 250 g of butter * ½ liter of milk
- * 3 big carrots
- * 2 spoons of rape bio oil
- * 50 g of sumach * 15 g of red pepper spice
- * salt & pepper
Cook the potatoes in salted water. Peel them and mash with fork. Put the mash into a cooking pot and drain it a little with low flame, stir properly, add 250 g of butter (in small pieces, not all at once) and stir properly again. Pour warm milk gradually into the mash and add salt. Stir the mash one more time before serving.
Fried carrots :
Peel the carrots and slice them into thin sticks (1 cm thick at most), cover them in a mix of oil and spices (sumach and red pepper), put them onto the parchment paper and put it into the preheated oven (220°C) for about 15 minutes. Check it during the baking. The carrots mustn’t float in the oil!
Sprinkle with sumach before serving.
